Hello Show folks!
Just want to let you all know if you missed the festivities in Morgan Hill, you missed a great time! The fun started out on Friday with a Golf Tournament and Past President's dinner at Coyote Creek golf club. The winners of the tournament were a three-way tie for the win and came down to our local friend Dan Callison and his team winning the first-place medals. We had a lot of great raffle prizes that were won too.
On Saturday morning, the fun continued in Daly City at the Showmen's rest at Olivet Cemetery. Our Chaplain, Ron Quint presided over the ceremonies, and I hear he did a wonderful job. The weather was beautiful and sunny; donuts and drinks were served.
Saturday night was back in Morgan Hill at the Granada theater. It was a fantastic extravaganza I am told. President Jill Moyer and helpers did an outstanding job with decorations and the whole event was beautifully done. Past president, Lance Moyer was Master of Ceremony, dinner was delicious, the evening was full of camaraderie, dancing, pictures and lots of fun.
The winners of the project ticket drawing were as follows:
#1 Incoming President Sharie Davis won $3,418.00 (plus seller for an additional $500)
#2 Sean Butler, Kris Moyer, Canon Moyer, Kyle Quint and Nate Keyes shared $1,709.00 (Sean got the $300 for seller)
#3 Past President Tom Eachus won $1,367.00 (also kept the $200 for seller)
- We had the diamond necklace raffle and Debbie Mangels, Jill’s neighbor who purchased one ticket to help support the club won the prize.
- Congratulations to all the winners!

There was an after party in the Hospitality Suite and I am told it was catered by none other that Taco Bell! The party continued into the wee hours!
On Sunday morning breakfast was served back at the Golf Course and the Installation of 2026 Officers took place. Again, Past President Lance Moyer was the MC. Jill handed out her gifts to her court and then fired them. Lance swore in the following officers for 2026:
President: Sharie Davis
1st Vice: Miranda Nugent
2nd Vice: Karla Kinsel
3rd Vice: Greg Jewel
Looks like Greg is going to have some BIG shoes to fill following all the strong women he is following!
- Shout out to our 2nd Vice, Karla Kinsel and her fiancé, Eddie for hosting the Hospitality Suite Friday, Saturday and Sunday!
I really want to send a shout out to Past President Gina Tuttle who did not attend the festivities due to illness. Thank you for being considerate of your fellow showmen and staying home so as to not expose others. Hope you feel better soon!

President Davis will also be representing Show Folks at the Arizona Club's Banquet and at the PCSA Banquet. Sharie will probably be popping up on some midways, so be sure to look for her this season!
I also just heard that we lost another fellow showman, Diane Thompson passed away. I am not sure of any details; I just heard the sad news. Our condolences to the family.
